Continuous Professional Development

The Financial Services Forum is committed to help improve the effectiveness of financial services marketing: better and more effective marketing builds successful careers, improves corporate performance and, ultimately, delivers better value for customers.

All our forums, seminars and conferences offer topical and relevant marketing content designed to improve our Members’ understanding of financial services marketing agendas, and ultimately enable them to enhance their personal, and their organisations marketing effectiveness.

Members and Associate Members can use their attendance at Forum events to demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning. Everyone who attends a Forum seminar or conference can now claim Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits.

How It Works
After each event, every delegate who indicates on the feedback survey that they wish to be credited for attending will be emailed a CPD certificate confirming the date, the topic and the duration of the session.

These hours can be accumulated and added to any other time spent developing an individual’s marketing skills and count towards their annual training or continuous learning targets.

We are introducing this additional feature to boost the benefits available to our Associate Members in particular, who can use their membership of The Financial Services Forum to improve their understanding of financial services marketing disciplines and invest in their continuous professional development.  

Online Knowledge Centre
Private study can also play an important part in CPD.  Through the Forum’s online Knowledge Centre, Members have access to over eight years of Argent material, event presentations and other white papers and research reports.
