Annual Members Conferences (March/November)
We hold two, one-day conferences every year for our members (typically in March and November). These conferences address the major issues facing our industry identified through member research. Through a combination of presentations, on-stage interviews, debates and work-shops, some of the best minds in marketing, financial services and academia share their thinking.

Each conference typically attracts between 120 and 150 participants

Sponsorship of these events entitles you to:
- up to five places for your staff
- up to five spaces for your guests
- branding on all conference materials
- branding within the venue
- other promotional opportunities

These Annual Member Conferences provide an excellent opportunity to interact with our members, to understand their issues and to put your brand in front of them in a highly interactive way.

3-Day Summits, St. Paul de Vence, France (Mortgages in April, L&P in May, Branding in June and General Insurance in September)

Our 3-Day Summits held in St. Paul de Vence in the South of France provides an opportunity to become really engaged with the key players in the UK financial services market.

Our Summits attracts many of the most senior executives including CEOs, directors of marketing, distribution, operations and strategy.

Sponsorship of this Summit allows you to invite two members of your staff plus up to five senior clients. It provides an opportunity to expose both your senior staff and clients to the very high level thinking, discussion and debate which takes place over the three day period as well as networking with some of the most important people in the UK mortgage industry.

Awards For Marketing Effectiveness
The Financial Services Forum Awards for Marketing Effectiveness are the only awards to focus specifically on effectiveness in financial services.

The Awards grow in stature year on year and attract entries from the UK’s leading financial services providers to the point where they are very highly valued and fought for within the industry.

The sponsor plays an integral part during the Awards submission and judging process and then on the night of the Annual Awards Dinner ensuring maximum exposure to the member base.

There are nine Awards categories for:

Annual Members Dinner (November)

This event attracts approximately 400 of the industry’s most senior people to a glittering black-tie dinner held at a leading London venue, the highlight of which is the announcement of the Marketing Effectiveness Award winners.

This is the Forum’s one social event of the year and provides an excellent networking opportunity for our members and the event sponsor.

Part of the event is a speech by a leading industry figure which in the past has included:

  • every year the Forum runs anything up to 16 general interest events, workshops or seminars relevant to all of our members whatever their specific sector of the financial services industry.
  • these events cover subjects including the regulatory environment, recruitment, treating customer’s fairly, customer-centricity, brand strategy, staff engagement in your brand, measuring marketing effectiveness and many other topics.
  • organisations can choose to sponsor a single event or the entire calendar of general events over the course of the year.

Special Interest Groups

  • The Financial Services Forum also operates a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
  • by sector, these include; asset management, general insurance, investment and commercial banking, life and pensions, mortgages, private banking and wealth management  
  • by discipline, these include; corporate communications, direct marketing, e-commerce and regulatory strategy
  • each will hold between 4 – 6 events every year and sponsors can become involved in helping to add value to the work of the SIGs

Associate Membership

  • the introduction of our new Associate Membership (link to AM section) allows sponsors to reach a whole new level of financial services marketers. These members are primarily responsible for the delivery of their organisation’s marketing strategy and report into the Marketing Director. However, most will be significant budget holders in their own right and often be responsible for partner or supplier selection and appointment.
  • sponsors can benefit from becoming involved in adding value to the programme of events run for our Associate Members which includes 6 intensive half-day seminars
