The CityUK has polled public opinion of the financial services industry, using research techniques akin to those used to assess voter attitudes, and revealed new insights into the true depth of feelings consumers have towards our industry. We can’t hide; we’re all tarred with the same brush - it’s not just about the ‘banks’. Importantly, consumers are also clear about what the industry must do to earn respect. Simple and consistent behaviours could help to close the confidence gap.
