Anne-Marie is an internationally experienced asset management marketer whose career spans more than 20 years. She is currently Chief Marketing & Client Experience Officer for BNY Mellon Investment Management (IM) – one of the world’s largest investment firms with over $2 trillion in AUM and part of BNY Mellon Group which manages the custody of over $37 trillion of financial assets. She has previously lead marketing globally for both the investment and wealth management businesses and works in partnership with BNY Mellon IM’s eight investment firms to distribute investment product in multiple regions across every major asset class. She is a member of the Global Distribution Executive and an Executive Director on the IM EMEA Board and UK fund boards at BNY Mellon IM.

Anne-Marie is a regular speaker at industry and marketing events and is most known for driving innovation in marketing and for being a pioneer in digital and technology to drive change in asset management.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon IM, she held numerous senior positions at M&G Investments, including Head of Pan-European Marketing. During this time, she pioneered the launch of the first financial blog in the industry – Bond Vigilantes alongside the M&G fixed income team.

At BNY Mellon IM, she has spearheaded game-changing initiatives such as the donation of the boat race sponsorship to CRUK, as well as creating innovative new approaches to disciplines such as content marketing including creating an award-winning investment editorial team. Most recently, Anne-Marie was the driving force behind the global brand strategy and transformation for BNY Mellon Investment Management and is now leading the group’s client experience transformation.

She is the only person to have been named Investment Week’s Marketer of the year twice and her teams have won numerous awards for innovation and best practice including awards in Thought Leadership, Best Overall Campaigns, Best Use of Data and Best Events. She has also recently been recognised as one of the 2021 Global Top 100 Executive Allies for inclusive leadership.
